The Accredited Growth Venture Assessor (AGVA) certification from the Global Innovation Institute (GInI) is a recognition awarded to individuals who have met GInI’s standards for conducting innovation-driven growth readiness and performance assessments, designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking GInI Certified Innovative Growth Venture (CInGV) certification.
GInI authorizes AGVA holders to conduct these assessments on behalf of the Institute, under the supervision of a GInI-accredited Training and Assessment Provider (ATAP) or a GInI-accredited University Provider (AUP). The CInGV assessment is the only assessment AGVA holders are authorized to conduct; all other assessments are reserved exclusively for Certified Innovation Assessors (AInA).

Obtaining

Meet the exam eligibility requirements.
- Hold a university degree (Bachelor’s or higher).
- Have at least two years of professional experience in industry, academia, or government.
- Hold a valid GInI certification as a CInP, CInS, or CCInO.

Choose Your Learning Path
- Self-Paced Learning: Prepare for the exam at your own pace after obtaining the AInMB certification.
- Instructor-Led Learning: Enroll in a training course with one of GInI’s accredited training providers.

Apply for and pass the AGVA exam.
The exam is 60 minutes long, consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and requires a minimum passing score of 75%.

Complete a practical training period (optional but recommended).
- Shadow a current AGVA assessor during an actual assessment and review the resulting assessment report (CInGVAR).
- Conduct your first assessment under the supervision of a current AGVA assessor.
