GInI Certified Innovation Associate (CInA®)

The GInI Certified Innovation Associate (CInA®) credential is designed for university students preparing to enter the workforce. It recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a solid foundation in business innovation and the ability to contribute as innovators within modern organizations.

CInA certification affirms the student’s understanding of key, foundational innovation concepts and practices, including: how to be an effective innovator, conducting research to uncover new insights, brainstorming & the GInI Breakthrough Innovation Method, Design Thinking, executing innovation projects, developing business plans & pitching new concepts, launching & scaling new business ventures, and new venture funding mechanisms.

  Fulfill the Exam Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program.
  • Provide proof of ownership of the GInI Certified Innovation Body of Knowledge (BoK).

  Choose Your Learning Path

  • Self-Study: Prepare for the exam at your own pace after obtaining the official reference book.
  • Instructor-Led Learning: Enroll in a course delivered by a GInI Authorized Training Provider.

  Apply for and Pass the CInA® Exam

  The CInA® exam consists of 90 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 90 minutes. A minimum passing score of 60% is required.
