It enables trainees to gain a better understanding of cybersecurity, learn about attack methods and threats, and equips them with the latest advanced principles and practices in the cybersecurity field. The program also prepares them to obtain international certifications in cybersecurity. In addition, trainees receive hands-on training in fully equipped labs as a form of practical practice and preparation for the job market. The training emphasizes the practical, applied aspect and its connection to the theoretical side in most specialized courses.

 

General Objective of the Diploma:

The program aims to qualify trainees to work in the field of cybersecurity and to professionally prepare specialized human resources in cybersecurity with specialized and professional skills that meet the needs of various sectors and institutions through hands-on practice and practical application.

Essential Training Information

The Cybersecurity Diploma, which is an associate diploma, was designed in a way that aligns with the local labor market needs for this specialization.

Duration of study: One year Number of training terms: Four separate training terms, each lasting eighteen training weeks.
Training hours: 928 training hours.
Training language: Arabic and English are used in instruction and course materials.
Training system: Training is conducted in person at the institute’s premises.
Training period: Trainees have the right to choose the training period that suits them.
Morning session: From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon session: From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Evening session: From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Preparation for four international professional certifications offered by CompTIA, which are as follows:

  • IT Fundamentals (ITF+) Certification.

  • PenTest+ Penetration Testing Certification.

The graduate of this program is awarded:

An accredited Associate Cybersecurity Diploma issued by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).

Frequently Asked Questions

To be admitted into the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1) A high school diploma or its equivalent

A valid and recognized high school certificate or an equivalent qualification must be submitted.

2) National ID card

A valid copy of the national ID card must be submitted.

3) A valid residency ID (for non-Saudis)

Non-Saudi applicants must provide a valid copy of their residency ID (Iqama/legal residency), ensuring it is active and up to date.

The trainee will receive the diploma certificate after completing the following requirements:Passing the comprehensive exam issued by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).Paying all financial fees related to the diploma program.Paying the certificate issuance fee of 200 SAR, as required by TVTC.

A trainee is prohibited from taking the exams in the following cases:If they are absent for 25 consecutive days without an approved medical excuse.If their total absences exceed 25% of the training hours for any course without an accepted excuse.

In both cases, the trainee is barred from the exam and is not permitted to take it.

The total fee for the program is 23,000 SAR.

An optional monthly installment plan is available at 1,150 SAR for 20 months.

No, the fees are non-refundable.

However:

• The seat reservation fee (500 SAR) can be transferred to another program within 3 months.

• It can also be deferred for up to 6 months in accordance with the institute’s policy.
