Centennial Training Institute hosted a specialized session titled "Design Thinking for Innovation Projects" as part of the Innovation Talks Series, in collaboration with the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE). The series aims to foster a culture of innovation and empower individuals and entrepreneurs to adopt modern project development methodologies and transform challenges into innovative opportunities, in alignment with national priorities and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The session was honored by a visit from Her Highness Princess Lamia bint Bandar Al Saud, underscoring the importance of adopting leading innovation and creative practices as a core approach to project development and enhancing the ability to design innovative solutions with sustainable impact. Her visit also highlighted the importance of fostering a culture of innovation and supporting practices that contribute to building a knowledge-based economy driven by creativity and continuous development.
The session was part of Centennial Training Institute's ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality programs and specialized events in the field of innovation, based on internationally recognized methodologies accredited by the Global Innovation Institute (GInI - Global Innovation Institute), a leading international organization dedicated to advancing and empowering innovation ecosystems.
The session was delivered by Ms. Hanan Al-Qarni, a specialist in Design Thinking and innovation. She explored the concept of Design Thinking and its value as a practical methodology for understanding user needs, analyzing challenges, and developing creative, implementable solutions. The session also covered the key stages of the Design Thinking process and the tools commonly used to innovate and develop successful projects.
The session witnessed strong attendance and active engagement from participants, highlighting the role of Design Thinking in creating user-centered solutions, enhancing the beneficiary experience, and improving project quality through research, analysis, and continuous experimentation.
