Essential Training Information

This diploma aims to prepare trainees specialized in Computer Software Within the department of Computer Science and Information Technologyin line with the needs of the local job market. Training in this field is conducted within specialized colleges and institutes.

Program Duration: Two and a half years
Training terms Five training terms (half-term), each lasting 18 weeks
Training Hours: 1,840 training hours, plus 490 hours of practical training in the job market, totaling 83 accredited credit hours.
Language of Instruction: Arabic and English in lectures and curriculum
Training Method: In-person at the institute
Training periods: Trainees choose the time slot that suits them

  • Morning session: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  • Early evening session: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

  • A certificate A diploma in Computer Software Department of Computer and Information Technology, equivalent to an Associate Degree issued by the Technical College.

  • Four levels of English language training, with accredited certificates from the Ministry of Education.

  • Practical applications in various sectors of the labor market before the end of the program.

  • The opportunity to continue studies to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Job placement recommendations via an internal employment platform provided by the institute for graduates.

Admission Requirements for the Program:

The following requirements must be met for admission:

  • Submit a high school diploma or its equivalent: The applicant must provide the original certificate or its equivalent.

  • Submit a copy of the national ID: For Saudi applicants.

  • Submit a copy of the residence permit (for non-Saudis): The residence permit must be valid.

Frequently Asked Questions

To be admitted into the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1) A high school diploma or its equivalent

A valid and recognized high school certificate or an equivalent qualification must be submitted.

2) National ID card

A valid copy of the national ID card must be submitted.

3) A valid residency ID (for non-Saudis)

Non-Saudi applicants must provide a valid copy of their residency ID (Iqama/legal residency), ensuring it is active and up to date.

The trainee will receive the diploma certificate after completing the following requirements: Passing the comprehensive exam issued by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). Paying all financial fees related to the diploma program. Paying the certificate issuance fee of 200 SAR, as required by TVTC.

A trainee is prohibited from taking the exams in the following cases: If they are absent for 25 consecutive days without an approved medical excuse. If their total absences exceed 25% of the training hours for any course without an accepted excuse.

In both cases, the trainee is barred from the exam and is not permitted to take it.

The total fee for the program is 23,000 SAR.

An optional monthly installment plan is available at 1,150 SAR for 20 months.

No, the fees are non-refundable.

However:

• The seat reservation fee (500 SAR) can be transferred to another program within 3 months.

• It can also be deferred for up to 6 months in accordance with the institute’s policy.
